Weekend without worry

This time last week I was consumed with worry ahead of Birmingham City’s game at Bolton. And during the season as a whole, there was a lot more worry than wins. Now that it’s over I am going to do my best to take a break from football and think of other things. If you want to keep up with the latest transfer or takeover rumours, this is definitely not the site for you.

My plan is to go for more walks, read more books and spend less time with my laptop.  Sometime during the summer I’ll probably have a few days fast from electronic communication and leave my laptop, TV and radio off. If Lord Lucan reappears and buys Birmingham City during my electronic fast I may not hear about it for a couple of days.

Much of the time that I do spend with my laptop will be spent trying to sort out why it’s so slow, editing the photos I take on my walks, and maybe writing posts on topics unrelated to football.  I’ve done a little tidying up on my blog including deleting the Welcome page.  So my Home page now displays the latest posts. About this website has some of the text from the old Welcome page and a picture, but I’ve replaced the wintery scene with a summer one to signify my intention to enjoy this break between seasons. Long long road summer not winter
