Craven Cottage

Craven Cottage

I would have liked to have gone to the game today. Craven Cottage is a nice ground that I enjoy visiting.  I even enjoyed my first visit in February 2010, when Fulham won with a goal right at the end.  I enjoyed it even more when we won 5-2 last season. As I wrote at the time, it reminded me of why I first fell in love with football.

Fulham spent far more than Birmingham in the summer transfer window and are doing well. They are second in the table and haven’t lost this season.  But that doesn’t mean that they are bound to win.  Football is gloriously unpredictable. Whatever happens, I  hope the travelling Blues fans have a great away day and all arrive home, safe and sound.

Note: I have updated my Cheat Sheet and the official website has provided a full list of Blues summer transfer window business.

Thanks for the compliment on Craven Cottage, Puddleglum. I have been a Fulham fan since 1968 and have never tired of the amazing ground and its atmosphere. The results have not always been so spectacular but, hey that’s football. Good luck for the season, except today of course. Cheers Touchjudge.
