Losing by three goals to none

Birmingham City lost 0-3 to Bristol City a week ago and that made me feel distraught. We lost 3-0 to Watford on Saturday and I felt bad but not distraught.

Managerial changes

I’m not going to write about the game on Sunday as I’m feeling a bit nervous about it. I’ll be there at St Andrew’s, hoping that my fears won’t be fulfilled but don’t want to spend time worrying beforehand. I won’t be writing about the Millwall game either. I was more upset by the policing of that than by Birmingham’s performance on the pitch but have already written about it on the Blues Trust website (click here to read what I wrote.) Thank goodness for squad numbers

Pre season lineup against HullI went to Birmingham City’s friendly game against Hull this afternoon.  When the game started I recognised five of the players on the pitch and one of those was Curtis Davies who was playing for Hull.  So I spent some of the time referring to the team list1 in an effort to sort out who was who. I am not the most knowledgeable of fans but I do like to know our players’ names. Continue reading
